Nuturing Nigeria’s Future Leaders

DLC Rescue Home is empowering the future: one child at a time

The foundation of our society is dependent on how we train our children.

The upbringing of a child encompasses several aspects of human development. From education, to good morals and spiritual inclination, mental and social fitness, economic and political literacy, dietary quality assurance, shelter and family love just to mention a few.

The primary responsibility to train a child rests with the parents. However, some parents are not awake to this responsibility, some are not around to take it up either due to death or other uncontrollable events while others are not just capable of living up to their responsibilities.

De Light of Christ Rescue Home is a non-governmental organization founded by Olusola Ebunoluwa Ajibare (Nee Atanda) to combat the pervasive decadence in the upbringing of young children in the society.

What we have done

Payment of School Fees

Over the past 3 years, we have been paying the academic tuition for 5 benefactors cutting across primary, secondary and tertiary education.

Provision of Accommodation

We provided accommodation for two (2) individuals who are current benefactors of our shelter initiative

Assistance with Rent Payment

We've also assisted with the payment of house rent for families that were unable to pay their rents due to financial issues

Distribution of Food Items

Since 2016, De Light has distributed food items including rice, beans, garri, chicken, yam, etc. to less privileged homes.
Sustainable Development Goals

We have tailored our initiatives to help achieve the following goals globally:

No Poverty

Eradicating poverty requires addressing root causes and empowering individuals and communities

Zero Hunger

Eradicating hunger requires addressing root causes and implementing sustainable solutions for food access.

Good Health and Well Being
